Who we are looking for:
We are in need of a Technical SEO Specialist who is able to work alongside our current SEO team and produce work and results that will complement our Organic Search, Paid Search, Social Media and Web Design services for our clients.
The Technical SEO team works closely with our Marketing and Development teams to provide Organic and Paid Search strategies and implementations that work to the same KPIs, improving clients’ performance.
Responsibilities:
Regularly crawl and audit sites, and document issues with actions to fix
Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to make decisions on overall Organic Marketing strategies
Carry out technical implementations based on client objectives, and in line with the overall Organic Search strategy
Lead SEO consultancy and task management for on-site migration and web build projects
Support the sales process with website audits – identifying gap opportunities for prospective clients based on their broader business goals
Communicate SEO strategy and consultancy with clients on calls and via project management software
Monitor sites’ technical health performance and task/fix issues found confidently
Create and maintain setups for clients across Google Analytics, GTM, GSC
Review, setup and improve our current goal and event tracking for organic clients in GA
Own keyword research and tagged keyword position monitoring to inform organic strategy direction
Actively look for ways we can use SEO research intelligently to better our organic product and increase value for clients
Investigate client site issues and support communication for the Client Services team
Skills we’re looking for:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on Technical SEO experience
Excellent problem solver – skilled in diagnosing advanced technical issues and confident in putting forward solutions
Advanced on-site tactical knowledge and experience
Experience using SEO tools to an advanced level (Screaming Frog or similar crawling tool, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Tag Manager, Sistrix, Data Studio, pagespeed tools)
Advanced Google Analytics knowledge
Excellent knowledge in event and goal tracking in GA
Good knowledge in HTML and Javascript page rendering for SEO – issues and fixes associated with each
Experience developing SEO reports to accurately communicate performance to clients
Experience running agency-style client SEO campaigns
Experience using project management software (Asana or similar)
