The Brief

Yard and Coop have three restaurants in the North West of England; Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. They serve up delicious fried chicken in their lively and bold locations. The two founders opened their first restaurant in Manchester and it has taken grown from there. They are now one of the biggest names amongst restaurants in major cities all because of their amazing social media platforms. However, when COVID hit in 2020, along with many others in hospitality, Yard and Coop needed to find an online ordering platform that worked for them and their brand personality.

What we did

We worked with Yard and Coop to create an online ordering platform for their customers to order to tables while in their restaurants and also have the ability to order online to be collected for customers who wanted to take their food away with them. TLC have provided a streamlined, beautifully branded and organised service for their customers and also their employees by providing them with electronic orders that go straight to the kitchen. Here we integrated with our electronic point of sale partners, Tevalis for a smooth customer and operational experience.

 

The platform

We created the ordering platform for Yard and Coop that integrates with Tevalis EPoS technology and offers payment by credit/debit card, Apple and Google pay and PayPal. Yard & Coop are able to access the systems on their payment tills to open tabs and view orders from the table or for collection. This reduces face-to-face contact and improves user experience as it is quick, easy and allows the customer independence with their brand.
